We’re Matt and Michelle. We’re not professional travel vloggers, and honestly, we never planned on being YouTubers. We just love traveling. 

Matt has always enjoyed videography—capturing the places we visit and the moments we share—so we started documenting our adventures as a way to preserve memories for our future selves.

Over time, our “personal travel journal” grew into something more. One day we thought: why not share these stories with others who love to travel too? That’s how M&M Travel Journal was born—a collection of real experiences, honest tips, and memories that we hope inspire you to make the most of your own adventures.

We’re in our 40s, and like many people, we balance busy jobs with our love for exploring new places. Our travels are usually planned with an average budget in mind—comfortable, but not extravagant. Every once in a while, we’ll splurge on something a little more luxurious, but that’s the exception, not the rule. We don’t chase “budget travel” exclusively, but we’re always on the lookout for great deals and experiences that give real value for the money.
